Essentially,
there are no bosses and no corporate hierarchy at Rega. Instead, the workforce
operates as a network of teams. The teams have leaders whose job it is to co-ordinate
the member's efforts. No one person, however, has total control over any aspect
of the company's operations. If we are being candid, though, Roy's quirky personality
still exerts a powerful influence. Our
somewhat unconventional way of working though has proved justified. In recent
years, we have developed daring and groundbreaking products - both inside and
outside the hi-fi arena - that have proven extraordinarily successful. |
