The RS1 loudspeaker offers exceptional sound quality and value for money. Its accurate low frequency and very even extended high quality treble generate a well balanced and enjoyable performance. Driver units

Every Rega Bass and Bass/Mid unit is hand assembled, in house, to our exact specifications. This gives us enormous flexibility in design and ensures Rega speakers produce a unique sound compared to OEM drivers purchased 'off the shelf '.

The RS1 loudspeaker uses our classic RR125 Bass/Mid drive unit. This unit offers excellent damping of resonances, and a unique paper cone. The RR125 has a smooth response which aids seamless Bass driver integration and exceptional timing.

High Frequency unit

The RS1 uses our new HF20-ZRR high frequency unit which is uniquely designed by Rega. By removing unwanted rear reflection the design of the ZRR tweeter helps maintain a distortion free response.

Sound and set-up

The drive units in the RS1 have been designed with great care. The handmade crossover needs no additional filter networks to work with the drive units. Unlike most manufacturers who boast about the complexity of their crossovers, we are proud of the simplicity of ours.

The RS1 has an unusually even bass response for a small loudspeaker. It allows them to be mounted directly onto the wall, or alternatively to be placed on shelves or stands. This allows the user greater flexibility in positioning than is normal.
